We return detailed statuses: Valid (safe to send), Invalid (undeliverable), Risky (catch-all or role-based), Disposable (temporary email), and Unknown (server didn’t respond). Each result includes sub-codes so you can make granular decisions about your list.

Email validation is a point-in-time check. A mailbox can become full, deactivated, or blocked after verification. That said, our 99.5% accuracy means less than 0.5% of verified emails will bounce — far better than industry average.

Verify your list regularly (we recommend before every major campaign), remove addresses that haven’t engaged in 90+ days, and use our real-time API to validate at the point of capture — signup forms, checkout pages, etc.

Each email verification costs one credit. When you purchase a plan, you receive credits plus bonus credits. For example, buying 10,000 emails gives you 1,500 bonus credits for a total of 11,500. Credits never expire.
