How do I cancel my monthly subscription?

You can cancel a monthly subscription anytime from the dashboard. No phone call, no support ticket, no retention specialist trying to talk you out of it.

The steps

  1. Log in and go to Account Settings → Billing & Payments.
  2. Find your active subscription and click Cancel Subscription.
  3. Confirm the cancellation. We mark the subscription as canceled but keep it active until the end of the current billing cycle.
  4. At the end of the cycle, billing stops. Your remaining monthly credits expire at that moment. Any PAYG credits in your account stay available indefinitely.

What happens to your credits

If you cancel mid-cycle (say, on day 10 of a 30-day cycle), you still have full access for the remaining 20 days. You can keep verifying emails, using the API, all of it. After day 30, monthly credits stop. PAYG credits — both the kind you bought separately and the 200 free credits from signup — remain in your account.

If you change your mind

You can reactivate before the billing cycle ends from the same Billing page. After the cycle ends, you'd start a fresh subscription, but your account history, settings, API keys, and PAYG balance are all preserved. You don't lose anything by canceling and resubscribing later.

Downgrades and plan changes
You can switch to a smaller monthly plan instead of canceling outright. Switching takes effect at the next billing cycle, with proration handled automatically. The Billing page shows you the new price and effective date before you confirm.
