- Can I use auto-refill while paying with cryptocurrency? No. Auto-refill in Valid Email Checker only works with saved cards (Stripe or Paddle). Crypto payments require manual wallet transactions and cannot drive automatic refills. You can still buy credits manually with crypto.
- Can team members trigger auto-refill on the owner's card?Team members can spend credits, which can cause an auto-refill to trigger on the owner's card, but they cannot enable, configure, or disable auto-refill themselves. Only the account owner sees the Auto-Refill toggle.
- How do I re-enable auto-refill after it auto-suspends?If auto-refill auto-suspended after 3 payment failures or the monthly cap, you can re-enable it by updating the card (if needed), opening the settings modal, and confirming. Valid Email Checker resets the failure counter on the next successful refill.
- How does auto-refill interact with my monthly subscription?Auto-refill is independent of your Valid Email Checker monthly subscription. Monthly credits are spent first, then PAYG. Auto-refill only triggers on total balance and tops up PAYG. Subscription renewals do not reset the auto-refill failure or monthly counters.
- How does the auto-refill threshold work? The threshold is the credit-balance level that triggers an automatic top-up. When your total credits fall to or below the threshold, Valid Email Checker schedules a refill. Range is 1,000 to 10,000 credits.
- What does "Aggressive" auto-refill timing do?Aggressive timing fires the auto-refill on the very next monitoring tick after your balance crosses the threshold — effectively immediate. Best for high-volume users who cannot tolerate any pause in verification.
- What does "Balanced" auto-refill timing do? (5-minute delay)Balanced timing waits 5 minutes after your balance crosses the threshold before firing the refill. It is the Valid Email Checker default and gives you a window to top up manually or pause if you change your mind.
- What does "Scheduled" auto-refill timing do?Scheduled timing waits until a specific time of day you pick (e.g. 2:00 AM local) before firing the refill, regardless of when the balance crossed the threshold. Useful for predictable, same-time-every-day billing.
- What does the auto-refill monthly limit do?The monthly limit is a circuit breaker that caps how many times auto-refill can fire in a calendar month. Range is 1 to 30, default is 3. Once the cap is hit, auto-refill auto-disables until the 1st of next month.
- What happens when auto-refill fails 3 times in a row? After 3 consecutive payment failures, Valid Email Checker auto-suspends your auto-refill. The toggle goes off, the badge turns yellow, and you must update the card and manually re-enable. A successful refill resets the counter.
- What is auto-refill in Valid Email Checker and where do I enable it?Auto-refill watches your credit balance and tops it up automatically when it falls below a threshold you set. Enable it from the Auto-Refill toggle next to the credit balance in the dashboard header.
- Where do I see my auto-refill history? The Auto-Refill History page in your Valid Email Checker dashboard lists every refill attempt — successful, failed, and pending. You can filter by status, view processor error messages, and export to CSV.
- Which auto-refill timing mode should I choose? (Aggressive / Balanced / Scheduled)Valid Email Checker offers three auto-refill timing modes. Aggressive fires immediately, Balanced waits 5 minutes, and Scheduled runs at a fixed time each day. Balanced is the default and right for most accounts.
- Why didn't auto-refill trigger when my credits ran out?If your credits hit zero but auto-refill never fired, the cause is usually one of five things: it wasn't enabled, the card failed silently, the monthly cap was hit, no saved card on file, or your threshold was set too low to react in time.
