Is there phone or live-video support at Valid Email Checker?
Valid Email Checker does not offer a phone line or live-video support. Every support interaction — pre-sales, technical help, billing questions, refund requests, enterprise scoping — happens over text: live chat in the in-app widget, the public contact form, or direct email. This is a deliberate design choice, not a missing feature. Here is the reasoning, and the small set of exceptions.
Why text-only support
Three reasons:
- Written conversations leave a paper trail. A phone call ends with whatever you remember. A chat or email thread is searchable, shareable with a colleague, and quotable when the conversation resumes a week later. For technical issues this matters a lot — being able to paste the exact error message a user saw three days ago is worth more than fifteen minutes on the phone.
- Text scales evenly across time zones. Valid Email Checker has customers in every timezone. A text-based system handles 9am-in-Tokyo and 9pm-in-Berlin equally well without needing duplicate staffing.
- The AI triage layer only works on text. Our in-app live chat starts with Alex, an AI agent that resolves a large fraction of questions instantly. That mechanic does not translate to voice — voice support would need to be human-staffed end to end, which would mean slower response and higher prices for everyone.
The closest things to a call we offer
For enterprise scoping conversations (custom volume pricing, on-prem deployment discussions, security review sessions) we will schedule a Zoom call on request. To start that conversation, write to us through the /contact form with the reason set to "Enterprise Plans" and a sentence about what you need to scope. A meeting invite follows. This is not a phone-support channel — it is a scheduled scoping conversation between humans on both sides.
What if I really need to talk to a person?
Live chat with a human is the closest substitute. Start a chat in the in-app widget, ask Alex to connect you to a human, and the conversation escalates to one of our agents. The typing-back-and-forth pace inside the chat is usually fast enough that it feels more like a conversation than an email exchange — message latency is a few seconds, not hours.
