What is the in-app support widget and how do I open it?

Last updated May 20, 2026Support & help

Every page inside the Valid Email Checker dashboard has a small purple circle pinned to the bottom-right corner — that is the support widget launcher. Click it and a 380-pixel-wide panel slides up from the corner, giving you three things at once: instant help-center search, a button to start live chat with our AI support agent Alex, and a fallback contact form for non-urgent issues that you would rather email.

How to open it

  1. Sign in to your account at app.validemailchecker.com — the widget only appears on authenticated pages.
  2. Look at the bottom-right corner of any page (Overview, Bulk Upload, Credits History, Settings — it is on all of them).
  3. Click the purple bubble with the chat icon. The panel expands upward.
  4. Press Escape at any time to close it. On mobile, tap the dark backdrop behind the panel.

What is inside

The Home view of the widget shows three things stacked top-to-bottom:

  • Search bar. Typing in here queries the help-center index instantly — see how does help-center search work for the ranking logic. Results appear as a list of article cards you can click to open in a new tab.
  • Popular articles. When you have not typed anything yet, the widget shows the highest-priority articles from the index — the things most people ask about.
  • Contact us. A button at the bottom that takes you to a sub-view with two options: start a live chat with Alex, or submit a structured contact form right inside the widget.

Why the in-app widget is the fastest path

When you start a live chat from inside the widget, our Chatwoot identification layer has already passed your user ID, email, name, and account metadata to the chat session. That means the AI agent answering you can look up your credit balance, your recent verification tasks, your subscription status, and your invoices without you having to type any of it. Compare with the public contact form, which has to start from scratch.

Not seeing the bubble?
The launcher is hidden on the auth pages (login, signup, password reset) because you are not logged in yet. On the dashboard, if a browser extension is hiding fixed-position elements, the bubble may be blocked — try in an incognito window.
You can also reach the same help content directly at help.validemailchecker.com. The widget is a convenience layer — every article is on the public site too.
